dnp Supernova Optical Screen Models

Supernova Screens are ideal anywhere a superior front presentation solution is required.
The series is made up of three overall types of optical screens, with new models constantly in development. Available in a wide variety of finishes, formats and sizes, it’s easy to find a screen that fits both your technical needs and installation environment. Supernova is compatible with all standard projectors and is easy to install and maintain.

Supernova One

dnp Supernova One

The revolutionary dnp Supernova One front projection screen is ideal for brightly-lit environments. Featuring an active high-contrast filter, the screen reflects the projected image while effectively absorbing ambient light (undesirable light from other sources). The result is vivid, sharp pictures with up to 7 times the contrast and double the brightness of conventional front projection screen images.

The Supernova One is a rigid screen. The surface is bonded to an absolutely flat section of aircraft-grade aluminum, making for a light weight, durable screen perfect for home theater or conference rooms.

The Supernova Core comes in a variety of sizes, complete with a black velvet frame that complements virtually any decor. We call it core value.

The Supernova Core is a flexible screen that stretches across a lightweight aluminum frame. This makes it easy to move and convenient to ship.

combines revolutionary Supernova Screen technology with innovative, aesthetic, space saving design to create a high-quality front projection screen that is flexible and retractable. The Supernova Flex Screen is available with a wall or ceiling mounted installation system.

Supernova Mobile

Ideal for brightly-lit environments

dnp Supernova Mobile Screen
The road warrior's top choice, this screen's two models provide exceptionally vivid images to table-mounted and floor-mounted front projection situations. Set up and ready to go in a matter of seconds, the SNS Mobile conveniently rolls into a light-weight metal case for easy transport and storage when the job’s done. It is also convenient in conference rooms or classrooms with limited wall space or where a permanent fixture is undesirable. You can use it directly under a flourescent light without taking out the bulbs!

dnp Supernova Epic & Epic CS
For the ULTIMATE widescreen home theater or conference room projection experience, only the Epic will do! The Epic (pictured to left) features the rigid surface of the Supernova One screen shaped with a precise curve, and with motorized masking with velvet curtains to crop the screen to the exact size of content you are viewing. The curtains also fully close to protect the screen surface, and open just like a classic movie theater.

And if you just want the Cinemascope widescreen experience with out the masking, the Epic CS (pictured below) offers the same curved surface in a lower-cost format without the masking mechanism

► Pre-programmed mask formats: 1.33:1 to 2.40:1 -or- create your own (Epic)
