A Personal Welcome from Steve Puffenberger
Welcome to Advent Media, Inc's 2004 website. For 22 years, Advent Media has been providing professional audiovisual services to local and national clients. I'm Steve Puffenberger, owner and chief "pixel pusher", and it's my pleasure to invite you to tour the possibilities of digital media from Advent Media.
As you'll read in my History page, I've seen a lot of changes in technology over my 31 year career, and the march toward HDTV's mandate in 2007 continues undaunted. While the changes in image delivery are revolutionary, the basics of audio-visual communication remain the same.
My primary focus is creating digital content for presentations to a wide variety of audiences by an equally wide variety of clients. Additionally, I provide several "consumer products" that you can read about in my Products page. Advent Media is equipped with state-of-the-art digital facilities to deliver and exhibit top-quality productions on-time and within budget.
The ubiquitous nature of Microsoft® PowerPoint™ has placed a powerful tool on everyone's desktop, but I'm sure you are familiar with the typical results. Experience shows that if you're looking to tell a story with media, be it PowerPoint, video, or a website, it's a task best suited for professionals, not amateurs. But for companies or individuals who don't have the budget for professional production, I'm offering training in both software use, and the basics of visual communication.
